I have always had a passion for capturing moments on film. In 1970, my mother bought me a Mamiya Sekor camera. I followed that with a Canon A-1 in 1975 then progressing to Nikon F2 a few years later. I moved to Canon, Sony and Panisonic video cameras in the early 80's. My heritage is as a Texas BBQ Pitmaster, part of the Mikeska Family, "The First Family of Texas Barbecue" I am the CEO of Mikeska Brands Texas BBQ. My first passion was in emergency services. One of the first EMT-Paramedics in central Texas way back in the 1970's. I also was an instructor/examiner with the Texas Dept of Health EMS. Aviation then became a passion in 1985. Since then, flying over 2,500 hours in 7 different types of aircraft including 4 helicopters. Thanks to my friends in Louisiana, Chustz Surveying, I was introduced to aerial drones. As a "real" pilot, I didn't harbor much fondness for those battery operated pain in the butt flying cameras, but I quickly changed my mind after seeing the amazing aerial imagery. Plus, the expense was a fraction of the cost of gathering images in my aircraft. With over 45 years of experience, let my lens tell your story... from the ground or from the air...
